Wet Gum trees show off purple, pink, red and burgundy limbs.You can hear a leaf drop in Garigal National Park this afternoon. It's quiet. It's damp and it's still. Not much wildlife to be heard, just a cricket here and there and an occasional froglet chirping and then stopping, as I approach along the track. The sun glints and polishes up the wet leaves. It has showered just recently. A bird lands in a tree nearby, shaking water droplets noisily on to the leaves below. 
Now it's raining again. Better head back.

"I still keep in touch with the Bandstand family. I guess I talk to most of them. When I talk about Sandy Scott, Little Pattie and Judy Stone and Brian Henderson , I speak to them probably once or twice a week. It's still a family. That family thing is still there. The entertainment industry is a very strange fraternity. Happy Jan 1 2024! I suppose like most people I have promised myself some self control and purpose, and therefore, I have changed direction of my art. I hope you like it: My latest piece of art takes a departure from the ordinary, offering a surreal landscape that turns our gaze upward as Earth rises against an imaginary backdrop.
