Everywhere you look...fireworks. Last night Sydney Harbour entertained us with an even more spectacular display. But this morning I was full of resolve. Back to basics. Back to walking, and the park had it's own small fireworks display. Boom... Red Spider Flowers. Happy New Year everyone.

Old friends of Janice Slater , Sean Cullip and Sonja Tallis were only teenagers when they combined in 1964 to form folk duo, Sean and Sonja. Col Joye says "The Bandstand "family" is still there".

"I still keep in touch with the Bandstand family. I guess I talk to most of them. When I talk about Sandy Scott, Little Pattie and Judy Stone and Brian Henderson , I speak to them probably once or twice a week. It's still a family. That family thing is still there. The entertainment industry is a very strange fraternity. Happy Jan 1 2024! I suppose like most people I have promised myself some self control and purpose, and therefore, I have changed direction of my art. I hope you like it: My latest piece of art takes a departure from the ordinary, offering a surreal landscape that turns our gaze upward as Earth rises against an imaginary backdrop.
