Ross Wilson Comes In Peace.

I Come In Peace, is the title track from Ross Wilson's recent album.  Since its 2010 release, two of the video's cast have shot to stardom; guitarist/singer Laura Wilde who is rockin in the USA, and Ross's daughter, actress Olympia Valance, currently creating disturbances in Oz & the UK as the latest & hottest addition to the 2014 Neighbours cast, vivacious 'Paige Smith'.

ROSS WRITES IN HIS BLOG " November 2015 has somehow become the time when everything I've done seems to be converging. Solo gigs around Melbourne flow into a huge show for Mondo Rock Nov 7 (One Electric Day, Werribee Park) followed by a set with Daddy Cool at The Age/Music Victoria Awards Nov 19 as part of our induction into the Music Victoria Hall Of Fame.
There is also the Warner Music release of a double CD '(When The Sun Sets Over) Carlton' featuring lots of music I either produced, published or performed in the exploding Melbourne music scene of the early to mid 70s.  In conjuction with all this activity I've been doing a lot of media interviews.

Don't miss the opportunity to see Ross Wilson at Lizotte's Newcastle Friday Jan 2 and at Dee Why, Sat Jan.3 2015. Book Now.

From Daddy Cool to Mondo Rock, as a solo artist to songwriter, Ross Wilson is one of Australia's most respected and well known artists! From the legendary band Daddy Cool whose number one anthem Eagle Rock smashed all previous sales records in
Australia to the 1977 formation of Mondo Rock, delivering hits such as 'Cool World', 'State of The Heart', 'Chemistry', 'No Time', and 'Come said The Boy' before Ross left to pursue a solo career, with the 1989 release of 'Dark Side of the Man' spawning the hit 'Bed of Nails' recently used as the theme to Bed of Roses and continued song-writing and producing credits with his songs being recorded by artists as diverse as Jimmy Barnes,  Def FX, Custard, Jennifer Rush, Troy Cassar-Daley, You Am I, Renee Geyer, Christine Anu , The Wiggles (this version of Eagle Rock again topped the charts in July 2008!) and, of course, John Farnham, his brilliant song-writing delivering John's unforgettable hit 'A Touch Of Paradise'.
